KasFinder is a real-world treasure hunt where you can place and find hidden Kaspa cryptocurrency drops while exploring anywhere in the world. Each drop is marked on the map and contains a physical marker with a unique code that you can claim for Kaspa (KAS) cryptocurrency. Check out the leaderboards for both hidden and claimed drops. If you find a drop, please take the physical marker with you so others don't get confused and think it's still live.
Physical markers can be anything weatherproof and clearly visible - 3D printed plaques screwed into trees, stakes placed in the ground, laminated cards, engraved stones, or any creative solution that displays the code and withstands the elements.
Here are some creative ways to mark your drops:
Get creative! Any weatherproof marker with the website and code clearly visible will work.
If you have a 3D printer, you can download these ready-to-print files. They're easily editable to change the drop code using the free OpenSCAD software.
Kaspa is a fast, scalable, and secure cryptocurrency built on a blockDAG architecture. Unlike traditional blockchains, Kaspa can process multiple blocks simultaneously, making it one of the fastest cryptocurrencies available. Learn more at kaspa.org
You'll need a Kaspa wallet to receive your finds and to fund any drops you place. Which one you want depends on your device:
Out hunting with your phone? Kaspium opens straight from KasFinder with the payment already filled in, so funding a drop is one tap. On a computer, Kastle's browser extension connects to KasFinder directly. (KasWare also works on desktop, and Kastle works on mobile too — you'd just copy the address across by hand.)
Trustless by design: the KAS sits locked in an on-chain smart contract — nobody, not even us, can touch it. It unlocks only for whoever enters the correct marker code, and pays out automatically. If a drop is never found, the contract refunds the KAS to whoever placed it after 180 days.
Use these buttons on the right side of the map:
Every collected drop has a small 1% fee, which goes towards running and hosting KasFinder. The other 99% goes straight to whoever finds the drop.
On very small drops the fee is a flat 0.025 KAS instead of 1% — the Kaspa network rejects transactions that create extremely small outputs, so a minimum fee keeps small drops collectable. The 1% rate applies to any drop of 2.5 KAS or more.
Head back to the map and start your treasure hunt! Good luck finding the hidden Kaspa drops!
